Dr. Dahlia Topolosky

Dr. Dahlia Topolosky is a licensed psychologist with a specialty in School Psychology in the State of Louisiana. She earned her Psy.D. from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology in New York where she had dual training in school and clinical psychology.  She has experience in schools, and in inpatient, and outpatient settings. Dr. Topolosky is currently in private practice at the Family Behavioral Health center where she conducts psycho-educational evaluations to asses for ADHD, Learning Disorders, Spectrum Disorders, and other Behavioral/Psychological Disorders. She uses a combination of psycho-dynamic, cognitive behavioral, and other evidence-based approaches to treat children, adolescents, and families who struggle with a variety of emotional/behavioral issues including ADHD, Spectrum Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Depression/Anxiety, Stress, and Trauma. Dr. Topolosky also uses play therapy and other creative modalities such as art and music to help self-expression and build self-esteem. She works with parents individually and in group settings to teach effective parenting skills and improve child-parent relationships. In addition, she provides consultation to school staff and runs groups for students.
